A story built around the game.

MB Ghouri Snooker is built on a journey that began in Karachi in 1987. After learning the trade and gaining practical experience there, the journey moved to Lahore in 1990, reconnecting with Punjab roots and establishing Lahore as the foundation for a growing career in the snooker industry.

Five chapters. One passion — snooker.

Origins

A Journey That Began in Karachi MB Ghouri Snooker began in Karachi in 1987, driven by a passion for snooker, craftsmanship and the desire to contribute to the growth of the game in Pakistan. The journey moved to Lahore in 1990.

Craft

From the Game to the Craft The establishment of Big Break Snooker Club in 1995 created a place for players to practice, compete and develop. International tables imported from England became a source of learning, while used tables were studied piece by piece to build expertise in construction, fitting and maintenance.

Federation

Contributing to the Growth of Snooker in Pakistan In 1997, involvement with the Snooker Federation opened a new chapter. Around 8–9 clubs were operated over the years, tournaments and events were organized, and young players were supported with tables, practice facilities and opportunities to develop.

Expansion

From Local Expertise to International Projects Experience expanded into distribution and professional supply. Working with brands including Calendar, Star and Viraka, approximately 8,750+ tables were supplied across Pakistan. International relationships later reached Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Europe, including projects in Saudi Arabia.

Today

A Legacy Built Around the Game Today, MB Ghouri Snooker represents nearly four decades of experience across table making, equipment supply, club management, player development, federation involvement and international projects.

INTERNATIONAL REACH

From local expertise to international projects.

The growing network reached beyond Pakistan through professional relationships in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Europe. An invitation to Saudi Arabia led to work on a professional snooker table at a Saudi academy associated with Ronnie O’Sullivan. The journey later included the successful supply, fitting and installation of 16 snooker tables for a club in Saudi Arabia.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Building the next generation of snooker.

The Snooker Coaching Academy was created to promote snooker at the grassroots level and give beginners, young players and emerging talent a place to learn, practice and develop. Located within the Pakistan Sports Board Coaching Center in Lahore, the Academy was established around 2020 with four snooker tables and a dedicated training setup.

Its long-term pathway is simple: find the talent, develop the talent and give them an opportunity — from learning and practice through coaching, local events, provincial competition, national championships and, ultimately, international competition.
